What the seven-day cards mean

Each card applies BiteLah’s conditions model to the 24 hourly forecasts for that date. The large number is the daily average of those hourly activity estimates, while “best near” points to the strongest hour in that day. Trip conditions are averaged separately from activity, so a day with interesting fishing signals can still show challenging wind, rain or waves.

This weekly view uses the East Coast Park coastal reference point to keep all seven days comparable. It is not a single forecast for every shore and offshore area in Singapore. Once you have shortlisted a date, open the location page closest to your intended water and compare the current 24-hour detail.

How to choose a day without chasing one number

Start by removing days that do not suit the practical trip conditions. Next, compare the daily averages and best-time cues among the remaining options. Small differences are not meaningful enough to override availability, travel time or a location you know well. A moderate day with manageable weather can be a better plan than a stronger day with an uncomfortable wind or high rain chance.

Forecast confidence changes with distance

The later cards help with rough scheduling, but they will change as new model runs arrive. Recheck the page the day before and again shortly before leaving. BiteLah does not freeze a weekly answer or claim that the most distant day is equally certain. If the live response is incomplete, the page removes the numbers instead of replacing them with a plausible-looking reference score.

Weekly use: shortlist a day here, confirm the intended location next, then check official weather information and actual conditions. This page does not verify access, closures or safety.
