Fishing depends on many factors BiteLah cannot observe, including local bait, water clarity, angling pressure, access, technique and fish behaviour. A high score does not guarantee a catch.
Not for navigation or emergencies
Marine and forecast-tide information shown in BiteLah is planning guidance only. It may differ from official tide tables, gauges and conditions at your exact position. Do not use BiteLah for navigation, boating safety, emergency decisions, severe weather decisions or tide-critical movement.
Forecasts can be delayed or unavailable
Provider data can be incomplete, delayed, cached or temporarily unavailable. BiteLah attempts to label these states, but you should verify important conditions through official sources before leaving.
Singapore data is supplementary
The data.gov.sg two-hour forecast and rainfall reading are included as additional local context when fresh data is available. They do not make BiteLah an official warning service and do not replace the Meteorological Service Singapore lightning map, advisories or emergency information.
Check conditions and local access
Before fishing, check official weather warnings, lightning risk, marine advisories, access signs and closures. If conditions look unsafe or access is unclear, do not fish there. BiteLah is a planning aid, not permission or professional advice.
